Conflict Minerals Policy
Altınkaya Conflict Minerals Policy
Altınkaya Elektronik Cihaz Kutuları Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş. (“Altınkaya”) is committed to conducting its business in a responsible and ethical manner and to supporting international efforts to ensure transparent and conflict-free supply chains.
Conflict minerals refer to tin, tantalum, tungsten, and gold (3TG), which are sourced from areas affected by armed conflict and human rights abuses, particularly the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) and adjoining countries.
Our Commitment
Altınkaya currently does not intentionally use tin, tantalum, tungsten, or gold (3TG) in its manufacturing processes or products.
However, should the use of any of these minerals become necessary in the future, Altınkaya commits to:
- Supporting the objectives of the Responsible Minerals Initiative (RMI)
- Working with suppliers that follow responsible sourcing practices
- Requesting relevant suppliers to provide information aligned with the Conflict Minerals Reporting Template (CMRT)
- Making reasonable efforts to ensure that any 3TG used is sourced from conflict-free and responsibly managed supply chains
Supplier Expectations
Altınkaya expects its suppliers to:
- Establish policies and procedures to ensure responsible sourcing of minerals
- Cooperate with Altınkaya in providing accurate and complete conflict minerals information when requested
- Support transparency and traceability within their own supply chains
Continuous Improvement
Altınkaya recognizes that supply chains evolve over time. We remain committed to monitoring developments related to conflict minerals regulations and industry best practices, and to updating our approach as necessary to remain compliant with applicable requirements and customer expectations.
Scope and Transparency
This policy is designed to align with internationally recognized standards, including the OECD Due Diligence Guidance for Responsible Supply Chains of Minerals from Conflict-Affected and High-Risk Areas, and supports customer reporting requirements under CMRT.
